Riverworks Music helps songwriters, musicians and producers to create strong, versatile and unique musical recordings. Recording and musical production services are provided by owner and multi-instrumentalist Mike Rocha (www.mikerocha.ca).

Mike Rocha draws from extensive training in music performance and theory from the Royal Conservatory of Music, formal education in music production and engineering, years of hands on experience both on stage and in the studios, and from running Riverworks Music day-in day-out for the past 7 years.

"There’s a very live quality to the recording, which is refreshing compared to the home studio excesses common in indie rock in recent years."
--  NOW music editor, Benjamin Bowles, on Rival Boys "Mutual Feelings of Love" LP  from the June 2-9 2011 issue

"It was way more professional than everything we've ever seen before, but still independent. He really let us be a band. We made all the decisions in the end,"
-- Rival Boys writer and guitarist, Graeme Rose

"If you need an incredible producer/engineer in Toronto, I highly recommend RiverWorks Music and Mike Rocha."
-- Sean Rm (Concession Records), on Greys' upcoming 2012 EP release "Easy Listening"

“This self-titled debut was written entirely in a practice space Black Pistol Fire inhabited right here in Austin. It was recorded in Detroit, though. But the chicken-picking intro of 'Jezebel Stomp' and the bullhorn production aesthetic of recording studio warriors Jim Diamond and Mike Rocha give the LP a glowering Texas swagger.”
-- Austin Music and Entertainment, on Black Pistol Fire's self-titled LP from Feb 22, 2011

"Mike is the best engineer by far I've worked with. Always willing to try anything. He's also a trained musician, which helped immensely. I learned alot from him and Dan during the sessions. He's my Phil Spector."
-- Mike Mikocic on his experience recording MeekoCheech, "Capricorn Sideways" EP , 2011

"During these sessions Mike Rocha and I plotted out arrangements for guitar, bass, keys and drums. Many of the original guitar, bass and keys tracks, played on by Mr. Mike Rocha himself, have survived to the final cut."
-- Heather Primerano on her experience developing the "Take This Heart" EP, 2010
